This is Waldenburg Elementary School, where I completed my first 4 years of education. Herein I began my venture into the world of roses and thornes. This was a wonderful experience, as the first and second grade were in one room with one teacher, third and fourth, fifth and sixth - the same; our principle was the 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Alma Wolf.
Joyful memories were contained inside these walls... we had a lunchroom, of course. There were 2 large restrooms; one for boys, other for girls. We had a stage! in the 4/5 grade classroom. It even had a curtain!!! We had Halloween Carnivals (the best in the world, I'll bet), Christmas programs, Easter egg hunts... much more!!!
